Bhubaneswar, June 14 -- A sandalwood tree was allegedly cut down and stolen from the premises of Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar late on Saturday night.

The incident came to light on Sunday morning, triggering discussions among local residents and visitors. According to reports, miscreants allegedly entered the premises when no one was present and cut down the tree before taking it away.

The alleged theft has raised concerns over the security arrangements at the site, with miscreants reportedly managing to carry out the act without being detected.
