Bhubaneswar, March 9 -- The second phase of the Budget Session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly is set to begin today, with the proceedings likely to witness intense debates and disruptions similar to the first phase.
Political tension is expected to remain high inside the House as both the ruling party and the opposition prepare to raise several key issues during the session.
The Opposition is likely to target the government on multiple matters, including alleged irregularities in mandis, the Mahanadi water dispute, the law and order situation, and the alleged non-utilisation of funds allocated in the previous budget.
