Second interim report on Lingaraj Temple law reforms submitted to Odisha govt
Bhubaneswar, April 27 -- The committee constituted for reforms in the administration and legal framework of the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar has submitted its second interim report to the Odisha government.
The report was handed over by committee chairman Justice Durga Prasanna Choudhury to Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan at Lok Seva Bhavan on Monday.
According to sources, the report lays emphasis on several key areas including the smooth conduct of rituals (niti-kanti), strengthening of security arrangements, improving facilities and entitlements for servitors (sevayats), and ensuring a disciplined and orderly darshan system for devotees.
