India, July 30 -- In view of the prevailing flood situation, the Bhadrak district administration on Thursday announced the closure of all schools and Anganwadi centres across the district.

According to the official order, all government and private schools, along with Anganwadi centres, will remain closed as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff.

The decision has been taken on the directions of the District Collector, keeping in view the flood conditions and the potential risks posed by rising water levels and disrupted connectivity in several areas.
