Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- A student in Redhakhol narrowly escaped injury after an arrow was allegedly shot at him while he was on his way to school on Monday.

The incident took place in front of Keutberni Upper Primary School in Keutberni village under Naktideul police station in Redhakhol subdivision of Odisha's Sambalpur district.

According to the reports, Amulya Dhal was taking his son Soumyaranjan Dhal to school when an arrow was allegedly shot at them from behind. The arrow was reportedly fired by a man from the village identified as Mochi Sahu.

The arrow, however, struck Soumyaranjan's schoolbag, which was on his back, and passed through it. The student escaped unharmed in the incident.The attack is suspected to have been triggered...
