Bhubaneswar, June 22 -- In a significant development, Mahakalapada Police on Monday arrested another accused in connection with the alleged misconduct involving Tikhiri Sarpanch Chameli Ojha at the Mahakalapada Block Office in Kendrapara district. The latest arrest marks a significant development in a case that had sparked widespread attention across Odisha.

According to sources, the fourth accused, identified as Sukanta Swain, was taken into custody by Mahakalapada police. He is accused of misbehaving with the woman sarpanch inside the chamber of the Block Development Officer (BDO) during an incident that occurred on June 11.
