Bhubaneswar, March 23 -- Authorities conducted surprise early morning inspections across multiple jails in Sambalpur district on Monday, confirming that no objectionable items were recovered during the operation.

The coordinated checks were carried out simultaneously at Sambalpur Circle Jail and the sub-jails in Rairakhol and Kuchinda as part of routine security monitoring measures.

The operation at Sambalpur Circle Jail began around 5:30 am, with teams comprising two Additional Superintendents of Police (SPs), a Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), and personnel from various police stations entering the premises.
