Bhubaneswar, May 31 -- With batting dominance reaching new heights in IPL 2026, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has proposed a series of major rule changes aimed at restoring balance between bat and ball in the T20 format.

Speaking recently, Tendulkar expressed his opposition to the Impact Player rule, arguing that it gives teams an extra batting advantage in a format already heavily tilted towards batters. According to him, adding another specialist batter further reduces the bowlers' role in the game.
