Rs 3.7 Cr Daspalla NAC sanitation tender in Odisha faces tender-fixing allegations
Bhubaneswar, Sept. 8 -- Allegations of tender fixing were recently surfaced in the sanitation tender process of Daspalla NAC in Nayagarh district of Odisha. It has been alleged that government rules were not followed and that the tender was allegedly fixed in favour of a particular construction agency.
According to reports, an advertisement for the sanitation tender was issued around 11 months ago for a two-year contract. The minimum tender value was fixed at Rs 3.70 crore. As per the tender conditions, bidders were required to quote an amount higher than the minimum value and submit the necessary documents as prescribed under the rules.
