Bhubaneswar, June 3 -- As electric vehicles (EVs) gain popularity worldwide amid rising fuel prices and growing environmental concerns, the delayed construction of Rourkela's proposed EV bus terminal in Sundargarh district has become a matter of concern for residents, sources said on Wednesday.

The project, envisioned as a key component of the Smart City's sustainable transport network, has been under construction since 2023 but is yet to be completed.
