Robbers strike multiple homes in Puri village, gold, cash and valuables looted
Bhubaneswar, May 24 -- A series of robberies was reported from Alisha village under Satyabadi area in Odisha's Puri district late on Saturday night, with miscreants allegedly targeting at least five houses in the area.
According to reports, the robbers broke open doors and locks before carrying out thefts worth lakhs of rupees from multiple homes.
The affected houses belonged to Basudev Mallick, Krishna Chandra Mallick, Nirupama Mallick, Damburu Mallick and Bijay Biswal. Satyabadi police reached the village after receiving information about the incident and launched an investigation into the suspected burglary spree.
