Bhubaneswar, March 22 -- In a late-night robbery incident in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night, unidentified burglars broke into a house in Jamukoli village and stole gold ornaments worth over Rs 20 lakh along with cash, locking the residents inside their room in a suspected well-planned operation.

According to sources, the victims, Sushant Barik and his wife, were asleep in a separate room when the robbers forced entry through the back door after breaking the lock. Taking advantage of the situation, the intruders locked the room from outside, ensuring the family remained trapped and unaware.
