Bhubaneswar, June 3 -- Questions are being raised over safety compliance at a rice mill in Bibina village under Saintala police station limits in Odisha's Bolangir district after a worker was critically injured in a boiler explosion on Tuesday.

The incident, which occurred following the explosion of a paddy boiling machine at the mill, has triggered demands for strict action against the mill owner.

The injured worker, identified as Kush Bagh, is stated to be in a critical condition and continues to battle for his life. Meanwhile, his family members are reportedly struggling to arrange advanced medical treatment and have alleged that they have not received any government assistance so far.
