Bhubaneswar, Aug. 16 -- Puri Matiapada Revenue Inspector Ashutosh Sahoo was allegedly assaulted during a dispute over a piece of land in Pipili Athabatia on Saturday night. The incident took place at around 11 pm.

Ashutosh was reportedly standing near the boundary wall of his land when an argument broke out with some people.

According to reports, Ashutosh wanted to build a boundary wall around his land. The neighbouring landowner demanded that the areas of both properties should first be properly measured.

Both parties had reportedly agreed to hire private Amins for the measurement. However, Ashutosh later began constructing the wall.
