Bhubaneswar, Aug. 28 -- The controversy surrounding Ravenshaw University in Odisha'sCuttack shows no signs of stopping, with teachers launching a collective protest over alleged political interference on the campus. Members of the Ravenshaw University Teachers' Association (RUTA) have reportedly gone on mass leave and staged a demonstration in front of the Vice-Chancellor's office.

The protesting teachers wore black badges and sat in protest, raising concerns over what they described as growing external and political pressure on the university. They demanded that the Ravenshaw campus be kept free from political influence and that teachers be allowed to discharge their duties with dignity and without interference.
