Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- Preparations for the annual chariot construction of Lord Jagannath and His Siblings gained momentum at the Rathakhala in Puri on the auspicious occasion of Nrusingha Chaturdashi on Thursday. Key rituals and preliminary works are undertaken on this day as per the tradition.
On the occasion, three pieces of 'Dhaura' wood were consecrated for the preparation of 'Kona Guja'. The Rupakar servitors are set to begin the carving work from today, including the depiction of Lord Nrusingha's form on the Kona Guja pata as part of the ritual process.
