Bhubaneswar, July 14 -- The traditional Anasara period at the PuriSrimandir has formally come to an end with the commencement of the Nabajaubana Darshan of the sibling deities on Tuesday. Following a series of secret healing rituals, the temple administration will reopen the inner sanctorum to allow the general public to catch a glimpse of the recovered deities.

The day's proceedings begin with the Badasinghara Dhupa ritual. Following this, servitors will offer Pana and Chakata Bhoga to Lord Jagannath and his Siblings. The Datta Mahapatra servitors will then measure the sacred space before performing the essential Banaka Lagi ritual. In this ritual, the Sibling Deities' faces will be repainted with natural colours.
