Bhubaneswar, March 16 -- A brief controversy arose during the Rajya Sabha election in the OdishaLegislative Assembly on Monday after questions were raised regarding the vote cast by BJP MLA Upasna Mohapatra. The issue led to a temporary disruption in the voting process.
According to reports, Mohapatra faced difficulty while casting her vote after her pen malfunctioned, resulting in overwriting on the ballot paper. Concerned that the ballot could be declared invalid, she requested the election officials to issue a second ballot paper so that she could vote again.
