Bhubaneswar, March 5 -- The nomination process for the Rajya Sabha election in Odisha gathered momentum on the final day on Thursday, with candidates from major political parties submitting their papers before the Returning Officer in Bhubaneswar.
Santrupt Misra filed his nomination as a candidate of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), submitting three sets of nomination papers. The filing of nominations was attended by members of both the BJD and the Congress, reflecting the political significance of the election process.
