Bhubaneswar, March 16 -- Voting for the Rajya Sabha election began at the OdishaLegislative Assembly on Monday, with polling being conducted in Room No. 54 of the Assembly premises.
The voting process started at 9 am and will continue until 4 pm, while the counting of votes is scheduled to begin at 5 pm.
The election for the single Rajya Sabha seat has triggered heightened political activity in the state, with leaders and legislators from major political parties arriving at the Assembly to cast their votes.
Ahead of the polling, political developments were reported across party camps as leaders worked to ensure the presence of their legislators.
