Bhubaneswar, Feb. 22 -- A well-marked low-pressure area continues to remain active over the southwest Bay of Bengal, raising the likelihood of rainfall across several parts of Odisha beginning Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the IMD, the weather system is expected to bring light to moderate rainfall to different regions of the state under its influence. The system is likely to move west-northwestwards over the next 48 hours and may intensify further, potentially enhancing rain activity in adjoining areas.
