Bhubaneswar, July 7 -- After days of widespread rainfall, weather conditions started to improve across Odisha on Tuesday. The intensity of rain is reducing in most parts of the state. The change comes as the depression, which had triggered heavy showers across the state over the past few days, has moved away from Odisha.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather system is currently centred over north Chhattisgarh, southeast Uttar Pradesh and northwest Madhya Pradesh. It is likely to move further in the west-northwest direction over the next 12 hours before weakening into a low-pressure area.
