Railway engineers raise career stagnation, pay scale issues before 8th Pay Commission
Bhubaneswar, July 9 -- Senior representatives from the All India Engineers Federation (AIREF) and the East Coast Railway Engineers Association (ECoREA) met with the 8th Central Pay Commission (CPC) authorities to formally present their professional grievances in Bhubaneswar. The delegation included AIREF advisor Bobin Mohanty and ECoREA president IA Khan.
According to The New Indian Express, during the discussions, organising secretary general Sivakant Singh highlighted the ongoing issue of career stagnation faced by engineers within the railway sector.
