Rabindra Mandap turns into 'Mini Odisha'; 30 endangered folk arts take centre stage in Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar, Oct. 3 -- Rabindra Mandap in Bhubaneswar turned into a mini Odisha as 30 endangered folk art forms from across the state were showcased during the 'Loka Ranjani- Ama Kala Ama Asmita' programme on Friday. The event also witnessed the unveiling of 'Loka Ranjani', a book based on Odisha's folk arts.
The Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi organised the programme under the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department, featuring traditional art forms from different districts of Odisha. The Akademi also documented the folk performances showcased during the event.
