Puri records second-highest October temperature in 130 years
India, Oct. 6 -- As October began, the weather in Odisha took a sharp turn, with temperatures rising soon after the rains eased across the state. The heat has become uncomfortable in several parts of the state, particularly in coastal Odisha, with temperatures rising steadily through the day.
Puri, Paradip and Bhubaneswar recorded high temperatures on Monday. Puri recorded 36.6 degrees Celsius, while Paradip and Bhubaneswar recorded 36.5 degrees Celsius and 35.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
