Bhubaneswar, April 12 -- A tragic incident cast a shadow over a Ramlila performance in Odisha's Puri district after a minor boy died upon coming into contact with an electric transformer during the event. The incident took place in Bhabanipur village under the Krushnaprasad area, turning a festive gathering into a scene of grief.

According to reports, the mishap occurred while the traditional Ramlila was being staged, drawing a large number of local residents. During the performance, the child reportedly began running after noticing an actor portraying Lord Hanuman, a popular and engaging character in the play.
