Bhubaneswar, April 1 -- Enforcement of Pollution Under Control Certificates (PUCC) will be tightened from April 2, with authorities set to intensify checks across Odisha. While verification of pollution certificates remained relaxed until April 1, officials have now announced stricter monitoring to ensure compliance.
The move comes as part of an ongoing push to strengthen road safety measures. Officials have indicated that the stricter enforcement will focus on ensuring that vehicles meet prescribed emission norms and that violators are brought under scrutiny.
