President Droupadi Murmu lands in Bhubaneswar on three-day Odisha visit
India, Aug. 3 -- President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Bhubaneswar on Monday for a three-day visit to Odisha. Upon her arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport, she was accorded a grand welcome by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, senior ministers, legislators, and other dignitaries.
From the airport, the President proceeded directly to Lok Bhavan amid tight security. Later in the evening, she is scheduled to inaugurate Jagadguru Kripalu University, marking a significant event in the state's higher education sector.
As part of her itinerary, President Murmu will leave Bhubaneswar on Tuesday morning by a special train to Berhampur. From there, she will travel nearly 80 kilometres by road to Taptap...
