Bhubaneswar, May 12 -- Amid growing concerns over LPG supply due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, the demand for Pipe Natural Gas (PNG) connections is rapidly increasing in Odisha's urban areas, especially in the capital city of Bhubaneswar. The process has also gained momentum in Cuttack and Berhampur.
Under the Odisha Government's City Gas Distribution policy, the target is to provide PNG connections to more than 9 lakh households across the state. However, reports suggest that many consumers who have already taken connections are yet to start using the service.
