Bhubaneswar, May 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Odisha to participate in celebrations marking the two-year completion of the BJP government in the state.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Thursday officially granted approval for the visit, CM Mohan Charan Majhi confirmed the development during a BJP program held in Bhubaneswar. CM Majhi said he formally invited PM Modi to join the state government's anniversary events, and he has accepted the invitation.

CM Majhi highlighted that the Prime Minister's presence would not only energize party workers but also serve as a public acknowledgment of the state government's developmental initiatives and governance achievements over the past two years.
