Bhubaneswar, March 2 -- India on Sunday strongly condemned the attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and expressed solidarity with the Gulf nation amid escalating regional tensions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed India's support during a phone call with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as Iran continued missile and drone strikes targeting West Asian countries hosting US military bases, including the UAE.
The strikes were launched in retaliation for the joint US-Israel air operations on Saturday that killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several senior military leaders.
