Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- A major revelation has emerged in the high-profile and sensational murder case of senior advocate and BJP leader Pitabas Panda in Berhampur. According to the final 396-page chargesheet filed by the police, the conspiracy to kill the advocate was allegedly hatched during the Kalua Jatra at Gosani Nuagaon.

The development is based on the statements of two witnesses recorded by the police.

According to their statements, three to four days before 'Kumar Purnima', former BJD MLA Bikram Panda, former Mayor Pintu Das, along with Madan Dalei, Malay Bishoyi, and Shunyachandra Das, had gathered at the Kalua Jatra.
