Bhubaneswar, April 29 -- Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday said vehicles running on petrol and diesel have no long-term future, urging the automobile industry to shift towards cleaner fuel alternatives.
Speaking at the Busworld India Conclave 2025, Gadkari backed the transition to green mobility, stressing that fossil fuels pose serious challenges due to rising imports and environmental concerns. His remarks come amid India's push to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable transport systems.
