Bhubaneswar, Sept. 28 -- Paradip police on Monday arrested a private company supervisor in connection with the robbery of jewellery worth Rs 20 lakh from a jewellery shop in Tarinigada on Sunday. The police recovered the stolen gold jewelleries, a gun and other items allegedly used in the robbery from his possession.

The accused, who is from Balasore, was living in a rented house in Tarinigada for the past three to four months and was working as a supervisor at a private company in Paradip. Police traced him by examining CCTV footage and arrested him from his rented house late on Sunday night.
