Bhubaneswar, June 18 -- Instant messaging platform Telegram has reportedly come under increased scrutiny in India amid concerns over its alleged misuse for question paper leak networks, circulation of pornographic material, copyright violations, and piracy, along with challenges linked to its encrypted communication system that reportedly complicates monitoring by law enforcement agencies.
Authorities and cybersecurity experts have reportedly flagged that the platform, due to its strong encryption features and large anonymous group capabilities, is allegedly being used in some cases for illegal distribution networks and coordination of unlawful activities.
