Panic grips Odisha's Keonjhar after 2 elephants cause widespread destruction
Bhubaneswar, May 31 -- Panic gripped Kainta village in Keonjhar's Champua range as two elephants went on a rampage, causing widespread destruction on Saturday. The elephants first broke into the local Anganwadi center, consuming grains stored for children.
They then entered a nearby school, damaging the fence, grills, and main gate. Household barns were also targeted, with stored rice and paddy eaten and furniture destroyed. The incident has left residents frightened and concerned for their safety.
