Bhubaneswar, Sept. 29 -- An FIR has been registered against 11 people in connection with the alleged adulteration of paneer in Cuttack, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rishikesh Khilari said on Tuesday.

The case was registered at Madhupatna police station following a complaint filed by the Kataka Municipal Corporation (KMC), also referred to as KMC in the complaint.

According to the Cuttack DCP, police have sought a detailed report from the Food Safety Department as part of the investigation. Authorities are probing where the allegedly adulterated paneer was being prepared and to whom it was being supplied.
