Bhubaneswar, July 5 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a major induction programme on Saturday in Odisha's Nabarangpur district, with more than 500 workers from Congress and BJD parties joining the BJP ahead of the upcoming Panchayat elections.

The event was held at Jambaguda in Papadahandi block and was organised by the BJP members from Nabarangpur district. Workers from the Dabugaon Assembly constituency formally joined the party in the presence of Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. The programme was presided over by Nabarangpur BJP District President Kunjabihari Das.
