Bhubaneswar, Aug. 6 -- Continuous heavy rainfall since Wednesday night has severely disrupted normal life in Bhubaneswar. The incessant rains have left roads waterlogged and several low-lying areas inundated. Shantipalli Basti in the Saheed Nagar area is among the worst affected, with knee-deep rainwater entering residential properties as well.

Heavy downpours began around 11 pm on Wednesday and intensified by midnight, continuing throughout the night. Light to moderate rainfall persisted across several parts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar, on Friday morning.
