Bhubaneswar, April 13 -- In a landmark verdict for student rights, the Orissa High Court has overturned a decision by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to cancel the Class XII examination results of 74 students from Padampur Public School. 

Justice Ananda Chandra Behera, presiding over the case on Friday, directed the national board to officially publish the results within one week, as reported by The New Indian Express.

The ruling brings an end to a year-long legal ordeal for the pupils of the Bargarh-based school, whose academic futures had been left in limbo following allegations of malpractice that the court has now deemed legally unsustainable.
