Bhubaneswar, March 31 -- In a major anti-corruption crackdown, the Vigilance Department on Tuesday recovered a huge amount of unaccounted cash from the residence of an OPHWC (Odisha Police Housing and Welfare Corporation) Deputy Manager, identified as Bidyut Ranjan Bhol.
According to reports, the Vigilance officials initially caught Bhol red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. Following his arrest, simultaneous raids were conducted at multiple locations linked to him, including Sambalpur, Bhanjanagar, and Bhubaneswar.
