Bhubaneswar, July 14 -- One person died while another sustained serious injuries after a speeding car rammed into a stationary container truck in Odisha's Bhadrak. The accident occurred near Aradi Chhak on National Highway 16 during the early hours of Tuesday.

According to reports, the container truck broke down and was parked on the side of the NH. However, the speeding car rammed into the stationary truck, killing one of the occupants.

The critically injured occupant was immediately rushed to the Bhadrak Medical College and Hospital for treatment.

Police had stated that the identities of both the deceased individual and the injured passenger had not been established at the time of reporting.
