Bhubaneswar, Sept. 4 -- A young man was found hanging from a tree in the Lunisahi forest under Itamati police station limits in Nayagarh on Friday. His family alleged that he was abducted and murdered by unidentified persons.

The deceased has been identified as Manas Behera of Kodiekahania village. According to his family, Manas was allegedly abducted by unidentified persons on Thursday.

His body was reportedly found hanging in the forest on Friday morning. However, the exact circumstances leading to his death had not been established at the time of reporting.

Following the information, police reached the spot and recovered the body. The circumstances surrounding his death were being investigated at the time of reporting.
