Bhubaneswar, Sept. 3 -- A woman was allegedly assaulted following a dispute over money related to contract work on Thursday at the Telkoi Community Health Centre in Odisha's Keonjhar district. The incident reportedly took place during a Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting at the health centre.

According to reports, an argument broke out among BJP workers outside the meeting venue and later turned into a physical altercation.

Pravati Sahu, a BJP woman worker from Bimala village, has alleged that Niranjan Sahu, who is reportedly the ITDA representative of the Telkoi MLA, had taken Rs 15,000 from her husband for providing a contract work.
