Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- Odisha is set to witness an active spell of pre-monsoon weather over the next seven days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting widespread thunderstorms, lightning, gusty winds and intermittent rainfall across most districts. While light to moderate rain is likely across the state throughout the forecast period, several districts have been placed under Orange and Yellow warnings due to the possibility of strong winds, lightning strikes and heavy rainfall.
