Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- Many regions of Odisha still remain stranded with accumulated rainwater despite dry conditions slowly returning to normalcy. In the mean time, Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning forecasting thunderstorms and lightning for some districts in Odisha.

For Wednesday, officials have placed the Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts under a yellow alert. The alert was issued warning residents of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and rainfall.

This weather pattern is expected to expand tomorrow as well, with Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj all likely to experience similar rainfall and lightning strikes.
