Bhubaneswar, June 21 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a series of weather warnings for Odisha, forecasting widespread rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds across the state over the next five days. Coastal, northern, and southern districts are expected to bear the brunt of the adverse weather, with wind speeds reaching up to 60 kmph in some areas.

According to the forecast valid till the morning of June 21, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in North Odisha and South Coastal Odisha, while South Interior Odisha may also witness scattered rainfall activity.
