Bhubaneswar, May 25 -- Odisha is set to experience fluctuating weather conditions over the next week, with a mix of light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and heatwave conditions affecting various districts.

On Day 1 (until 0830 IST, 25 May 2026), light to moderate rain or thunderstorms are very likely at one or two places in the state.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for districts including Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, and Ganjam, where thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 50-60 kmph may occur in the afternoon and evening.
