Bhubaneswar, Sept. 6 -- OdishaVigilance Department recovered another Rs 4 lakh in cash from the residence of Kendrapara Drainage Division Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Anupama Sahoo on Saturday. The latest development took the total cash seized from her possession and premises to Rs 7.15 lakh.

The fresh recovery was made during an ongoing search at Sahoo's residential premises in Kendrapara following her interception by Vigilance officials on Saturday. She is being examined to ascertain the source of the cash.

The searches at locations linked to Sahoo were continuing at the time of reporting. Officials were examining her assets and financial records as part of the investigation.
