Bhubaneswar, June 30 -- Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday carried out simultaneous raids at multiple locations linked to two employees of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Sambalpur in connection with allegations of possession of assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.

The searches were conducted against Establishment Officer Dhanurdhar Biswal and Steward Ashwini Meher. The operation was carried out on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Vigilance Judge, Sambalpur. A team comprising five DSPs, five Inspectors, three ASIs and other Vigilance personnel was conducting the raids.
